Do I need experience before my first class?
Not every course assumes prior experience. Start with Basic Firearm Safety or contact the instructor to discuss an appropriate placement. Advanced courses may have prerequisites.
Do I need to own a firearm?
Ask before registering. Equipment arrangements depend on the session; loan equipment is not guaranteed. Do not buy equipment based only on a general website description.
Where are classes held?
Thunderbolt serves Savannah, Chatham County, and Southeast Georgia. The exact venue and arrival instructions are confirmed for each class. A service area is not a walk-in training address.
How do I register?
Choose a course, review available dates, and use Join a Class. When a registration partner is available, you will be told before leaving this website. Otherwise, request a date directly.
What should I bring?
The instructor will confirm equipment, clothing, protection, and any ammunition requirements for your session. Ask about the venue and preparation before arriving.
Are private or small-group lessons available?
Private and small-group training inquiries are welcome. Tell us your goals, experience, group size, and preferred dates so the instructor can discuss an appropriate plan.
Is a class inquiry a confirmed booking?
No. A website inquiry requests a response. Your place is confirmed only through the registration process specified by Thunderbolt or the named registration provider.
What is the cancellation policy?

Does training give me a carry license?
No. Training and government licensing are different. Review current Georgia.gov information and contact the relevant probate court or a qualified attorney about eligibility and requirements.
Do you sell firearms or offer gunsmithing?
No. Thunderbolt Firearms Training is focused on education and training. This website does not offer firearm sales, transfers, gunsmithing, or repair services.
Can I ask about accessibility or accommodations?

Can a minor register through this website?
